North west callout!!!! Yay!

Today we will be assisting with some meals on wheels deliveries in the east Lancashire area. Ok, it was a response from me to a paper appeal I was directed to and not necessarily a callout but who cares. It's for a direct contractor for Lancs county council so can only be a good thing!! :D

We also reply to press and media appeals, don't persieve it as them not calling you, they are but as yet they don't know WHO you are.... :D



Try and get some media coverage out of it, local press you replied to should be happy to cover a follow up. And take some pictures for your own future publicity use (don't identify members of the public in them, shots at the depot are good).

the next time my mum cant get to the hospital for her cancer treatment ( due to bad weather ) i will give you a shout on here and then in inter deparment co operation i will get her to phone the papers and say how she could not get in due to the weather and your group came to her rescue :)

While I was sitting waiting in the car yesterday I did think about ringing the local radio and saying hello to myself and all the other wonderful 4x4 Response people out there! :twisted:



I've also just mentioned to our Personnel Dept that I'm on standby and given them my mobile number as they'd sent out an email warning staff about more snow coming in tomorrow afternoon.



Any publicity is ... erm.... publicity! :D
