Just some feedback from our attendance :)



Looking back to last time we were there, which was I think 2005, there was quite a difference. Last time people were coming up and asking about starting a group in other areas, or telling us about a new group.



This time people from all over the country were telling us ‘we use your guys’ or ‘we know about you’. The word has definitely spread!



From our displays we might have initially appeared to be more the ‘National Network’ than ‘Norfolk & Suffolk’, which from a publicity point of view was no bad thing. Peterborough probably offers more return on a national level than it does on an individual county one.



Not sure if we will return next year, but if not maybe a ‘National’ attendance might be worthwhile?

I was also there, wearing another hat, but maybe next year Norfolk & Suffolk and Breckland along with the ?new Cambridge group could do a "National" stand between us.

And if it is near to the GLASS stand again (we were opposite each other), I'm sure those of us with two hats on will help out.



As usual I had the Hertfordshire 4x4 Response banner on my vehicle so visitors were presented with 4x4 Response on both sides of the roadway :mrgreen:

Had a chat with some of our committee and got a very positive response to the idea of a multi-group stand. It would provide an opportunity for our two groups to get together, and maybe more from East Anglia.



Will post again when we get the application next year, and take it from there.

I'm hopefully going to be at the show with another group but will be able to find time to support a national stand, even if just to give others time to peruse the show......



I expect that we will again next year be at the Driffield Show which HY4x4R also attend. Although we have always promoted the National Scene, I would like to see a more formal National representation.

Sounds like most of Herts will be there in one way or another.

Tony will be multi tasking, Jason "Poodle" Peg aka Zac & I will be on the bhclrc stand chilling out.

If there is a national group stand I'm sure you can count on us for a few hours between meals.
