Hi from The West Sussex 4x4 Response Team.
Like Most of the country we were out and about bringing in and taking home Key Hospital Staff, Care Workers & other organizations as well as helping stranded motorists. This was our first real call out since our formation in October & I think that it all went very well & I am sure that on our next meeting that will be a debrief session that our members will tell us where the short falls are.Unfortunately I was away filming for the first 3 days , but fortunately we had set up a chain of command and our 3rd ops manager "Mike Cook", took the rains and did a great job. St Richards Hospital allowed us to set up our control desk in the main reception area and even put a petty cash float at our disposal to help with fuel. All in all a very successful job well done and a very Big thank you to our team for their hard work, A sentiment I am sure that is echoed by all the Team leaders to their teams around the Network.
