Land Rover Show Scotland

Having sent off an aplication form this week, Live Promotions (LP) have now sent me a hand full of application forms for various events....included, and something of a surprise to me....



LRO Show Scotland @ Knock Hill on the 10/11th April this year....close enough to RNE to think about and surely a must for all the Scotish Teams, maybe someone would like to sort a National stand out too....



The web address provided for the show doesn't exist, so I'll contact LP for more info and post later....

If you wish to book a show stand you need to contact Live Promotions as I can not find this advertised anywhere....

explain you are trying to book a "club stand" for the "Land Rover Scotland" event.....



They should send you a free club stand proposal form.



I think it would be a good idea if one of the Scotish Teams booked a National stand too and staffed it with members from all the teams....ergo representing the southerners...you'll need to check with Simon Bentley in case someone else gets there first. They know what the response groups do and are very accomodating, and if you request when returning the form (put a note on the top) they will site all the groups together, makes it easy to send a prospective to the correct stand. http://www.4x4response.info/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_e_biggrin.gif

RNE have sent off an application for the Scotish show, so pending confirmation we'll be there......



Has anyone else booked a club stand yet? And has anyone booked a N4x4RN stand yet?



It's best to book as early as possible, and keep Simon informed of how things are going as there is some efforts being made to provide appropriate info etc for use on show stands....Don't worry about manning a national stand, ALL groups can pitch in to help staff it.....and I'm sure Simon will be able to bring a few decorative items with him... http://www.4x4response.info/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_e_wink.gif

It has certainly disapeared from the LRO Shows website, which is showing the next show as Driffield in May.

Been on the phone today, no good news to report.



So.....are any of the Scotish Teams considering applying for the Driffield Show (See my other post) as it would be the furthest north that I'm aware of.



Hopefully, this means the intent is there to run a Scotish Show, so maybe next year????

I`ve heard on the scottish forums that it has been cancelled, maybe best to phone knockhill

The Knockhill (Land Rover Scotland) Show has definitely been cancelled, I had confirmation from Becca Smith at Live Promotions about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it'll go ahead next year, though it perhaps needs more publicising of the show to traders, campers and clubs to get the support.

The next-nearest would be Driffield on 8th/9th May, also run by Live Promotions but for LRO. Details for Driffield show HERE (http://www.lroshow.com/SPRINGADVENTURE/index.html)
