Lothian 4x4 Response Driver Training Day 03-07-10

Some of the team got together in the Bathgate Hills today for a Team Building/ Driver Training day. Variety of vehicles in attendance, with old and new skills tested fully. One of the things was really good of the improvement in confidence levels as the day went on in some of the attendees that hadn't been off road much.

Also some of the new MM6 Amateur call signs got the opportunity to borrow handheld 2m sets and were able to use their new skills gained last weekend.

Not forgetting the issue of the new jackets to all attendees, all were worn and think thats what kep the rain away.

We hope to be out again with the full team very soon.

A great day and like Colin said, we were all wearing jackets (Colin went for fetching yellow, they rest of us were in orange) and the rain stayed away.

It looks like I've got something strange growing out of my neck/collar, I can assure you it's the snorkel on "Jenny's" 90 :D

Haha - remember he has more experience at "off roading" than most - Oh and he was paying attention - To the camera - he is a poser :)

And Mark - a slight correction - yes it is the snorkel - from "my defender" - borrowed by Jenny for the day and unlikely to be returned to me - ever again - :rolleyes: - might need to invest in another one -
