Richard Wilcox and I did a sight visit this evening and all looks good.

The campsite will be open from early afternoon if anyone specifically wants access earlier to drop off caravans etc please contact me to arrange access.

As previously stated electric hook ups are available but numbers are limited so please book in advance if you require one. There are 9 or 10 outlets across 4 points so we will need people to park and camp considerately.

Open fires are NOT allowed. Contained fires raised up from the ground are ok, but have a fire extinguisher to hand - everything is tinder dry at the moment.

Dogs are allowed but must be kept under strict control, there are horses stabled within the site and I'm sure no one wants the bill for an injured flighty show jumper.

Access to "The Barn" is around the top side of the buildings (if in doubt ask) not via the courtyard or through other buildings. Parents are asked to ensure their children remain away from the stables within the courtyard.

There are 2 toilets and 2 hot showers in "The Barn" for our use.

The upstairs of "The Barn" is available for our use and is a perfect place to socialise in the evening (so no need for multitudes of anti social little fire baskets etc), plenty of tables and chairs, and a fridge to keep the beers cold. There is also a freezer if anyone is bringing anything they may wish to keep frozen, or just to flash cool other stuff.

If the weather is poor the AGM will be in "The Barn" if it is good we may well have it outside as last year - so bring a camping chair or similar.

Rubbish - there are no facilities for rubbish disposal on site so please bring a bin liner and take you waste home - I will try to bring suitable recyling containers for use in "The Barn".

Jet wash facilities will be available for those that wish at the end of each day - Frickley mud has a reputation for setting like stone - though of course there will be less than usual but we are assured there is still plenty.

I will post detailed directions shortly but please take note that we are not using the usual Pay and Play entrance and that this entrance will not be open, you need to approach via the village of Clayton, turn up Hall Brigg (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=frickley&countryCode=GB#map=53.56794,-1.31141%7C16%7C4&dp=os&bd=useful_information&loc=GB:53.56465:-1.31589:16%7Cfrickley%7C) the campsite is at Wink House (http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=frickley&countryCode=GB#map=53.56794,-1.31141%7C16%7C4&dp=os&bd=useful_information&loc=GB:53.56465:-1.31589:16%7Cfrickley%7C), which is Wink Lodge according to the sign when you get there.
