HAMFEST - 1st/2nd Oct 2010

We have he offer of a stand at the HAMFEST show this year 1st/2nd Oct 2010. This is FRIDAY and SATURDAY.

I intend attending as does Dave White form YL, are any other groups interested in joining us on the stand. This is an opportunity to promote ourselves to different group of people, some of whom are 4x4 owners but who can ring other talents and knowledge to our various groups. It is also an opportunity t build further bridges with the Raynet and general amateur radio community.

It would be nice to see the local groups represented but there is nothing to stop those from further afield attending too.

So who's interested.

I doubt I'll be able to attend, but we do have two members in 4x4RNE who are HAMs (or trainee HAMs) so I'll bring it to their attention....

There is at this point in time a very good chance that one or more of our members would like to attend as soon as I have conformation I'll let you know.

I might not have transport that weekend. I've just come to terms with probably not having time to get my Disco through it's MOT and having to catch the bus for a week.

This is what happens when you forget about the MOT until the tax reminder comes !!!!

Though if I can get a new head light and indicator bought and fitted quick I may have a chance.....
