Last night at 21.03 Hertfordshire 4x4 Response were placed on standby by the East of England Ambulance Service due to heavy rain and the threat of flooding.
So far this has not resulted in any call outs but we remain on standby.

Breckland Rover Rescue have also been on standby for East of England Ambulance Service. No callouts that I'm aware off but one member is currently assisting a young pregnant lady whose brakes failed after going through water and she hit a wooden post. Currently awaiting the recovery lorry with our member attending until they arrive.

We initiated an "internal" standby based on the severe weather forecast (not least of all because we'd been talking of sending a test alert for a while and it seemed like a good opportunity to send one). No request for assistance, though certainly where I was the weather seemed milder than the forecast suggested.
