Placed on standby by East of England Ambulance Service this afternoon.

We are now also on standby for Meals and Wheels Deliveries for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and for the Ian Rennie "Hospice at Home" service.

I have already been contacted by the Police and Health Authority to 'establish comms' in case they need us.
It's been trying to snow here in North Bristol this afternoon but I'm not sure if it will come to anything (prepares to eat words... ;-) )

Also on Standby for the Renal Unit at St Albans City Hospital.

We were moved up to "Alert" status for Meals on Wheels yesterday with two vehicles ready to respond today but given the very thin covering of snow, we were stood back down at 08.55 this morning.

We have now also been placed on standby by:

Hertfordshire Police (a first).

The Sanctuary Homeless Hostel, a local charity who wondered if we could transport their night staff to and from work if required. Of course we said yes.
