With hardly a pause for breath after the pre-Christmas snow and ice, on 27th December, Wessex attended Salisbury Plain to provide marshals for the annual "Plain Crazy" race in aid of the Royal British Legion. This is a 14 mile running event over the military training area. The weather was thankfully much better than previously, a good day was had by all, the only casualty being a burger van that needed a little assistance from Chris WE55 to return back to the main road.

A slideshow of participants in the event is available from the photographer's link at the bottom of the page.

Must admit I was surprised to find that we were "sponsors" but there you go.

Well, not all mis-information in the press works against you... :rolleyes:

Pictures in Fridays press. Anyone checked yet? Might be a strategically placed and sign written wagon in the background. :D

I had them made up at a car graphics place in Frome, £20 ea. Not much cop on a landy though.

I took the liberty of purchasing a copy of said newspaper this morning. None of the pictures had our crew in them. Was thinking of scanning and posting. Are we (me) likely to get into trouble if i do that? if not, I will. :D

Rephrase the following into a well known phrase or saying;

Cop
Landy
Much
Not
:rolleyes:
