An amateur radio foundation licence course starts in Danbury, Essex on Thursday, 1st September.

Run by volunteers from the Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society the course is open to all. It is six Thursday evenings of practical and theory, but the view from previous course attendees, is that it's not just boring theory but a whole load of fun as well.

The course enables you to get your Foundation licence which allows you to transmit on all the Amateur Bands in the LF, MF, HF, VHF and UHF spectrum.
