Just a note; the team members involved in both the extrication and the medical assist are qualified/professional medics, and had suitable ppe/equipment.
No responders were harmed during the demonstration! :D

I've been thinking how to replicate a "snow scene" at shows etc, the white camo net seem to work very well!
Sure beats how they do it for TV and Films... with soap flakes, can you imagine the mess!

Yeah it works really well as fake snow, totally plan to plagiarize that idea

We have also thought about a fake snow machine, the flakes out the end are biodegradable in water, so after the event simply use a hose or watering can adn your done.
Hmm was it a good idea to invite you Chris with all this talk of stealing our ideas, HAHA
Its a simply idea that Matt V came up with, we also have other Camo nets for other uses.
So a big Thanks to Mr Varney

I worked on a horror film set (The Children) a couple of years ago as 'Set Medic' and they used a company called Snow Buisness and they used shreded wet white paper on top of a white piece of material and that worked vey well and quite cheep.

I've come across Snow Business too on a couple of occasions, years ago I had to wait on a country lane once whilst they completely covered the back garden of an adjacent cottage in "snow". They used a huge blower (parked in the road, hence the hold up) to spray the fake soap/snow everywhere.
On the second occasion they were "snowing up" a Discovery 3 for a Land Rover advertising shoot and had actors wandering around in full Artic gear all made up to look iced up and frost bitten.
Except it was a lovely sunny day in July at North Weald Airfield in Essex! This time they appeared to be using some form of white granules, not sure what?

You can also buy snow online!

I have contacted Snowbusiness before and asked about there products, some of the fake snow is not safe for use when outside as it can harm wildlife, it has to be contained in a certain area, thats why we may use the bidegradable snow. :) smiles all around then!

On the set of THE CHILDREN they used the paper snow as it was on a country estate for a month or 2 while the film was shot and it looked realish.
