Just to confirm we have once again been offered a stand at the Emergency Sevices show on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th November.

http://www.emergencyuk.com/Content/The-Emergency-Services-Show-2011/1/

Unlike last year we only have a "shell stand" so no vehicle on display.

All help gratefully recieved although it could be a tight squeeze as the stand is only 2m x 3m. We are in Hall 3 on stand 452

Entry to the show is free and this year that includes the conference (on the wednesday only)

I'm not sure what we receive.

I know they aren't sending out passes this time - they have to be collected - not sure if we should expect anything else.

EDIT: just checked the email conformation.

Thank you for registering for The Emergency Services Show 2011, which takes place at Stoneleigh Park from 23-24 November.

This year we won't be mailing badges out in the post, but you will receive an email with a UNIQUE VISITOR BARCODE two weeks prior to the event. Simply bring this email with you to receive your badge at the show.

In the meantime, please keep an eye on the Exhibition website www.emergencyuk.com for all the latest Exhibition news and look out for the Show’s E-Newsletters nearer to the event.

To ensure the event is a major success, we’d appreciate your assistance in forwarding this e-mail to your colleagues so that as many emergency services professionals have the opportunity to see the latest equipment and services the sector has to offer.

We’d be grateful if you’d direct your colleagues to the Exhibition website for further information, from where they can also register. www.emergencyuk.com/123

The doors to The Emergency Services Show 2011 will be opening at 9.00am on 23rd November and we look forward to welcoming you then.

In that case Bob, if those other who periodically pop in here would like to consider promoting a subsequent show in a more northerly area I'm sure there would be plenty of interest.....:) Unless they already do and we don't know about it!!!!

A colleague and friend of Yorks - Lincs 4x4 Response will be at the show - Gez Fairbairn of IndiComm Global Ltd who are exhibiting. Gez will look out for you guys and make himself known.

He has some very interesting products providing headgear mounted wireless visual comms over a large area which he is already selling to the military and is looking to interest the fire service.

His kit would add a new dimension to being an incident commander...

I had a great day at the show. Did some promoting of 4x4 and gave Tony's name!

Found some good deals and will be following them up in the next week.

The seminars I attended were 'interesting'..........
But the feedback from them was good.:)

Great show, Mike Wade and I attended yesterday. As Trev said above user-bodies seemed more aware of us than in the past and traders seemed keen to deal with us. Lets just hope this continues.

On a similar note...
I've just received my "Emergency Services Times Who's Who Directory 2012" (enthralling reading if you can't sleep one night :D), and notice that although Red Cross, Raynet, Mountain Rescue, WRVS and others have entries in the Voluntary Organisations category, we don't.

Could someone at National get us added? We could go for a small entry like Raynet's (page 100) or a full 'who's who of all the groups with a map' like Mountain Rescue's (page 102) - Now that would get us noticed.

Have posted this already but think I did it in the wrong place. My question was simply as to when we became known by various names on a national level?

I thought we were

'National 4x4 Response', now I've seen us advertised as '4x4 Response Network' and at Stoneleigh we were displaying '4x4 Response UK'

Not a regular visitor to the forum so may have missed something obvious but could some clarify the different brandings?
