Thought I would post details here about this years Scottish Borders Hill Rally of which I am the Chief Marshal.
First of for those of you who dont know about hill rallies heres a little footage from previous events to put you in the picture:

The event is being held over the weekend of the 19/20th November and is at the Forrest Estate, St Johns Town of Dalry.

Were in need of more instage marshals and radio marshals, expierience is not neccessary as we can show you whats required on the day and pair you up with an expieirenced marshal.
The event is a great weekend of off road motorsport and with a central service plenty to see. Theres a catering van there all weekend, which does a nice line of food( Haggis rolls in the morning or venison burgers for lunch are good.)
You dont even need a 4x4 to access the course as many of the stages have accessible marshal points. But having a 4x4 will allow you to drive the course;)
So any of you are up for helping run this event with competitors coming from all round the uk and far flung marshals (thinking of one from Essex :p) please get in touch and I can give you some more information and add you to the staffing plan of the event.
