This evening we have been called out to Tiverton (2 units) and now received a call for two vehicles in Honiton

Hi Pete my understanding was that it was general assistance to Police Eventually we had 5 units deployed at 3 stations.

Just back in,,



Fair bit of snow, with the A361 Tiverton Barnstaple link road shut,, a dozen or so Lorries parked for the night, and about 15 cars slowly making their way through

Having responded to the incident in Devon last night, we anticipated some 'fun' today at Exercise Lancelot which was a a multi-agency rest centre exercise.



'Briefing and burgers' was scheduled for 08.15 -08.30 unfortunately for most of our members did not receive the briefing that they expected due to me receiving a call from Dorset Police which resulted in 8 vehicles being removed from the exercise and tasked to assist the Police due to some areas having well over 6 inches of snow.



Still at least I had another chance to chat to the assistant Chief Constable who professes to be well impressed by our support to their operations.

The road was still closed,,but a load of cars this trying !!
