Although there was no call in the end we have just seen how things can work.



At 16:12 this afternon W4x4R received a call from GWAS HEMS control that a vehicle might be needed at Lydney Forest of Dean. Passed to G4x4R at 16:15 , Darren responded at 16:15 and HEMS was updated only to advise 'stand-down at 16:22.



That is a pretty good demonstration of interteam / inter agency working to my mind.

Was about to ask why a helicopter needed a 4x4, then read it was at a forest. I know heli's are good but landing one there would be some skill!!!!
