What a fantastic weekend!!!

Despite the weather, the competion to the show from LRM at Newark, Northants group managed to arrange a stand and arena display at the Billing show. The weekend was, without any doubt, a runaway success on many fronts including over £1000 raised!

Although one of the newest Groups and a small local local forum we certainly more than held our own with our stand and display, even alongside the big commercial guys.

Apart from the funds raised the event has brought the team together as a stronger unit; rather than a group of individuals. Team work is what has made this success possible with so many members each taking on tasks showing comittment and seeing them through. Even though most people were wet through everyone had similes on their faces....a true sign that the show was a success.

The efforts made during the show has certainly raised the profile of Northants4x4.com and Northants 4x4 Response. Our names will now be known throughout the 4x4 world; and on a very positive note. Many comments have been made about how well the team have done at the show and the 'good' that we have done not only for the Response Team but for 4x4's as a whole.

So a huge thank you to all those that have been involved in making this event a success, and those that supported us.

Totally agree with you there. It just goes to show what can be achieved by a great team with a little effort. There are a lot more people who now know what a 4x4 Response team is and can do for the community.

Well done! Looks like you got a good turnout of members there.

What did you do to raise the funds?

We contacted all the stands and local compainies for a donated raffle prize the team did great and we gave out 45 prizes!!!!with a total value of over £3'000!!!!! in return we mentioned them in the main arena every day and displayed there logos on a few prize boards. It's been great and many like X-Eng, Landrover gear, Anchor supplies, Devon 4x4, Goodwinch and Gigglepin have already confirmed there support for next year!!!!!!!
