Aye bud, only limits for riding a quad bike on the road is that you have to have either a full bike license or have B1 on your full car license. Also most if not all insurance comanies will not insure anyone below the age of 21 to ride on the road. I am 38 and pay £120.00 fully comp. inc. voluntary work for the Outlander and that has a 650cc V-Twin lump too. If you wanted to get some idea of insurance costs then the place to call is Falcon Insurance, they beat other quotes by a long way.

Get one mate, they are fun and also practical with the cost of fuel at the moment.

Looking at the Categories, if you have B then you are covered surely, as B1 only goes up to 550Kg and if above this the vehicle falls into B!!!

This weekend one Quad insured and taxed. Also in the blistering heat, one trailer modified to fit the Quad more easily. For some reason the Quad's V5 says the make is ACCESS as opposed to Apache and no model is listed, so when the new V5 comes back I'll look at getting it properly listed as Apache RLX320 Sport.

The Quad is made by Access buddy hence why its on the V5, Apache is there brand here in the UK. Look forward to hearing of your adventures on it soon. Take it steady to start with though until you're confident. Enjoy Dave

Aye but General Motors make stuff that over here is branded Vauxhall etc... I thought the UK brand name would have been used???

I'll put in the model for clarity anyway, cheers Chris.

Gonna have a go out later

Default Nice Quad, but there's something missing on the back......

Hi Chris,

Well I have finally got around to manufacturing my trailers!

Just let me know when you want one.

Cheers,

Evan

Default Quad-Response Bodmin now has a new Quad!

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your response. The trailers are just £1695. There are several event medics already using them, and I have had great feedback.

Cheers,

Evan.

Hi Again,

Would the trailer be suitable for towing behind a non quad 4x4? (i.e. a land rover) and is it road legal?

Pete (again)
