Is this forum vulerable to this problem and if so has the server ben patched yet?

yep - we are running 3.8.4 the problem is with 3.8.6

Patrick is on holiday at the moment but we do have IT back up still if need be.

Must admit Patrick is always very reticent about upgrading to the latest and greatest version as it pops up - unless there is some useful fix for something that is actually broken... looks like his prudence bears fruit...
