Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Scott, I'm 18 years old and I live in the Lothian 4X4 area. I run/own a business from home so I have a lot of spare time. I'm currently negotiating a price with a family member for his Land Rover Defender, although he wants me to take his Discovery 3 off his hands but the insurance would kill me. He's not willing to sell his Defender until June (something to do with a contract or finance or something, goodness knows). So yeah, long wait until I can sign up to become a member, but hopefully you don't mind me snooping around the forum until then!

One question I do have is, I've noticed on some 4X4 websites, the minimum age to volunteer is 21? Is this true for all groups?

I hope I did not bore you with my long-winded speech.

Welcome to this forum, give me a call and I would be happy to help you further with regard to joining Lothian 4x4 Response.

You dont have to have 4x4 to be a member of our team. Next team meeting is first Wednesday in February.
