Hi

I have sent a few emails and used the form on their website to contact the beds group but so far have had no luck.

I don't think the web form is working...

Does anyone have a working email, phone number or someone I can PM on here?

Thanks

Hi Jack, I'm part of the Beds group committee. I am on holiday at the moment and back Monday. If you can PM me a number I will give you a call on Monday.
Also the club meet is Thursday evening if you fancied coming along.
Regards
James

James - can you get your group rep to adopt you as a Responder please, you are currently a "Website User and so your posts all need approving before display

Hi Jack,

I'm also in Beds and Cambs Response - the Beds rep is currently on a ship taking his Land Rover to Iceland - so not surprising you've had no response...

Get in touch with James, and do try to make it along on Thursday evening, you'll be warmly welcomed.

Kind Regards
Andrew

Thanks all! I'm also on vacation currently but will send PM on return. Probably Monday.

I sent an email and a few via the form. To be honest I do not think the web form is working.

Thanks all

I also believe the BHC Land Rover Club 4x4 Response Coordinator (as opposed to group rep on this forum) has been seriously ill recently, I'll chase this up as i'm a member of the club.

Very true Tony, Glenn was very poorly but is very thankfully on the mend now.

However I understood Glenn Stratton looks after Cambridgeshire, while Keith Parkinson deals with Bedfordshire. Thinking about it Ben Parfitt is Bedfordshire deputy, but he also is away on his hols!

Thanks both, I have been emailing James.

Andrew

Who is coordinating overall since Stephen Cuthbert's departure?

The generic email addresses for BHC seem to bounce back?

I've just realised I've allowed my BHC membership to lapse so better sort that out

Hi Tony,

My understanding of our current structure:

Overall and Cambs Coordinator - Glenn Stratton
Cambs deputy - Ian Parsons
Beds Coordinator - Keith Parkinson
Beds deputy - Ben Parfitt
Operational support - Gerri Bird
Training officer - James Addy
Equipment officer - Andrew Marchant

...but I cannot confirm that the deputy controllers and ops support are correct. This doesn't match the list on our own response forum, which is well out of date. I have phone numbers/email addresses for most of the above, please PM me if there are any you need.

BHC Chairman Colin Argent is involved also as part of the management group, there was a meeting in April.

It does sound like there is an issue with our website... Web stuff is divided between Mark Avo and Pete Restall, but they are busy at the moment with Help For Heroes rally prep.

Our membership secretary is Anna Taylor. Which reminds me, I need to put a cheque in the post too!

I'll give Colin a call, I hadn't realised that he was Chairman now!

Shows how long it is since a copy of Fourplay* dropped through the letterbox :D

*For those of you thinking WTF! Fourplay is the BHCLRC Magazine ;)

Colin is in Tokyo at the moment! :D

Fourplay is looking really good since Michael Chapman took it over, it's like a mini LR mag. Very professionally done!

Sounds like you should come along to one of our pub meets as well Tony - every first Thursday of the month, at the White Horse, Southill...

Also a few of us will be at the Whitwell Steam Fair this weekend.

I used to be a regular at Southill but haven't been for a while, mind you I could be a "local" soon as I'm looking at houses in south Bedfordshire at the moment!

And before you ask, I'm already an "honorary" member of BHC 4x4 Response but no I shan't be leaving Hertfordshire :D

The web and forum are no longer mine although i do still have some admin rights. Pete Restall is your man.

The web form was designed to avoid publishing email adds. All the forms were sent initially to me and i would pass them to the appropriate person.
Not sure if Pete is doing it he same way or where the problem may lay.
Keith is definately the man you need to speak to but he is in iceland on tour.
Colin wont be able to help as he is in hong kong i think

Thanks mate, I do recall reading that Pete was taking over as web master, I'll give him a call.
