Hello From Me

A few people may know me already, but for those who don't, I am Howard (better known on a few forums as 'Grizzly'). I am part of the North West group.

I have met a few people from various regions and I drive a rather distinctive Land Rover Series IIa.

:)

That's the one with the rear spoiler.....

....it's also the best Discovery Recovery Motor I've had the pleasure of being dragged behind...LOL

Nigel.

Partly right Nigel.

The rear spoiler has gone. Quite some time ago in fact when I fitted a roof rack from a 90.

Must agree about the 'Discovery Recovery' side though!

:D

You here to cause mayhem are you H?

John Potts 03-10-2010 08:30 PM

Good to see you Grizzly - could certainly use some livening up here ;)

How was the "Illumination Run" this year, did our Jonathon join you?
Can you not refit the spoiler above the roof rack.......can't afford to loose traction in the bad weather.....!

Nigel.

Yeah he popped along. A good night was had, albeit a late one. We didn't get back home to Lancaster until about 1am!!

Note duly taken.

:D

I suppose I could of re-fitted the spoiler above the roof rack Nigel, but I didn't think of that. Sadly now I have thrown it away so it looks like it might not happen.

Not unless I make a new one.

nigel leyland 06-10-2010 11:05 AM

Well don't let me ever here you complain about loss of traction......LOL

Nigel.

Unique is an even more polite word! Yeah, it was good to meet up with some of the NW group. Hope I can tag along again some time soon if I may.
