Default Into 2017

Is it time for a 2017 callouts and events board?

Lothian is on standby for the current wind and snow just now.

I guess so - Yorkshire are on standby for tomorrow morning, as I think are Lincs...

Lincolnshire are now stood down after the flooding event has receded. The LRF did a good job and our contact with them kept us informed throughout. Even though we were not actually tasked it did give us a chance to exercise our control system and for Responders to practice their comms. Always shows up where we can improve.
We are presently on alert for Marie Curie who always check in when snow is forecast. We dont expect to be called out but you never know, maybe we will get more snow than we thimk.
