Default Hello from a CFR

Hey All.

New Guy here or really I suppose I should say Lady, no, no, I'm sticking with guy!
I don't think I've ever been described as a lady so why start now!!

I'm a current CFR (community first responder) with FastAid Black Country and looking to expand my volunteering skills.

I've just brought my first 4x4 a lovely Freelander 1. 3door. Hard top.

Brought mainly for my inherent love of Landrovers but hugely because of the area I CFR in.

Hoping I can join you all in the fantastic work you all do.

So, I have the 4x4. Im currently looking into a CB radio or a Ham, still undecided.

What else do I need to do to be apart of your responding team.

Cheers and Hello All

Emily

Emily

Where do you live, as the country is covered by different groups.

Welcome Emily, If you look in the "navigation panel" on the right hand side here, the two links "Groups" and "Group Register", provide a list of all groups with contacts and a map of the areas covered by the groups. (I'm guessig West Midlands 4x4 Response, but others may be appropriate too)

From that you'll likely be able do work out for yourself which is the most appropriate group for you to join. Groups may have different requirements so it's best to find out which group you'll be a member of and ask them directly what you need.

Hope that helps Emily.
