Default Hello from Somerset

Hi everyone.

I'm Ash, WE75 with Wessex.

I'm an NHS Paramedic with an interest in Emergency Planning and Business Continuity.

Currently driving a Mitsubishi Shogun Sport Warrior with the usual 'enhancements' - General Grabber AT2's, recovery and emergency kit etc etc.

Hope to see some of you on call outs and exercises.

Regards

Hi Ash

Welcome to the forum

Nice to see another DipHEP on here, Were you one of this years recipients? i.e. were you at the presentation last week in London?

Tony

Hi Tony

Yes, I completed the DipHEP this year after doing the fast track course at EPC Easingwold.

Unfortunately, other commitments prevented my attendance at the awards ceremony in London but I believe some of my cohort did go.

Currently looking at certification with the Business Continuity Institute to add another string to my bow!

Regards

Well done on getting your Diploma, It occurred to me that we might have actually met last Thursday without realising it

You could certainly tell the Ambos at the ceremony..... they were the rowdy ones

Try taking a look at the Emergency Planning Society, a bit easier to get full membership than with the BCI, at least it is currently. We are heading towards Chartered Institute Status at present, once that is acheived it is going to get harder (For that reason i'm currently working towards getting my Fellowship before the upgrade happens ).

Indeed at the moment, I'm looking at all the training/accreditation I can get with the impending demise of the PCTs (for that is where I work)

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Tony, I'll certainly have a look at the EPS, thanks for that.
