Hi All,

Having just joined, I thought I'd say Hi & ask whether there is anyone else in Shropshire ?

A bit of background about me. I drive a Disco 2, equipped with BFG ATs, Diff Lock, winch, etc on & off road. I am registered as a volunteer driver with my local police and would be interested in a Shropshire 4x4 Response Group.

Please get in touch.

Chas

Welcome to the world of 4X4R Chas.

I'm not certain which group covers your patch, but trust me, someone will let you know shortly.

Cheers

Hi Chas

Welcome to the forum!

Which bit of Shropshire are you in? Some of the Wales members are from Shrewsbury area or you might be nearer the West Mids group as suggested in the clicky thing.

Technically Shropshire is under West Midlands, but a lot of people from there are in the Wales group because until a few weeks ago there wasn't a West midlands group !!!Â*

We won't be starting any in fighting though, as groups help each other out anyway and cover each others area if needed.

It may be worth keeping an eye open for Wales group training events as they often open these up to other areas if they're not full.

Then you can steal the information and ship it back over the border to the West Midlands! Just call it networking!

(They do have some very good training venues in Wales - Radnor Forest, Clocaenog Forest, Llanerchinnda Farm, etc and some VERY good lanes!

I know Wales have members in Baschurch and Bettisfield which aren't all that far from you. But the two groups overlap so you could go for either depending on which meetings are most convenient.

You'll have a great time I'm sure. Wish I could go! Trying to juggle commitments and money so I could just go on Sunday to do my NPTC assessment stuff but know I can't really. Next one though!
