Hi Shaun,
More info on our local Wessex group website (link in my sig. below)
If you fill in the Join form, that'll notify our Membership secretary, who'll put you in touch with the local Team Manager.

We have two inductions coming up in October so if you like to hit the join button and come along to one of them then we can take it from there.

Go to wessex4x4response.org.uk and all the info should be on there. Click the join us icon and someone will get back to you soon with the forms you need, then you just come along to an induction course and go from there.

Shaun,
Since my post (#2), the two induction sessions that we had scheduled have now been and gone, we've temporarily closed the join form because we are currently processing the 20+ recruits that passed through these training sessions, and we won't have another training session until after our AGM which is in February.
It doesn't mean we're not interested in taking on new recruits, but there are quite a few steps in the process of getting someone operational and we need to schedule it all.
I've PM'd my phone number, give me a call and I can tell you more.

What I info was it you could not find?, I'm sure if you post some questions then someone will answer them for you. I believe mario sent you a pm with his details, he is the man to speak to.

Shaun,

The join link on the Wessex website is not currently active ( whatever anyone else says - I know, I am the webmaster ! )
Access to the Member's Area is, yes, for members only, as there is information there which isn't for public access. Once we verify who you are you can be given access.

Do give me a phone call as per my PM,
I'm one of the Wessex management team, so will be able to answer any concerns or questions you have. There's no obligation involved in you finding out more about us (or even in being a full member - we are a voluntary organisation) but it will be much easier for me to explain things in a phone call.

regards
Mario
