News and events around the Network this week (11/10/08)

Bux and Oxon teams were put on Standby by the Council and Wessex and Gloucestershire teams were put on Standby by Great Western Ambulance Service Trust on Saturday 4th October due to anticipated severe weather with the potential to cause flooding, all teams were stood down on Sunday 5th October as the weather veered away overnight
