News and events around the Network this Friday (31/10/08)
In some ways this has been a quiet week but in others it has been a busy week.
Member teams seem to have had few fund raising activities but call-outs and standbys have kept some busy.
The week started last Saturday with three teams offering their services to OMM as a result of press reports talking of 1700 stranded runners. The week finished yesterday with members of the Devon team of Wessex 4x4 Response assisting both Police and Fire Services in Ottery St Mary which had received some 100 mm of rain hail and snow resulting in some 5 ft high drifts.
