Hi all,

I'm not a member of any club, actually I've only just thought about this sort of thing.

I own a Landy 110 and live out in the sticks(ish) so during the winter I tend to make sure its stocked up with blankets, water, stove, kettle etc etc incase I come across an accident. This winter just gone the country gets buried in snow and everyone gets stuck! (well not us lot obviously.) Later that week the news shows coverage of Landys and Nissans rescuing a load of people and I thought, "there must be organised people doing this, I want part of it"

Then I forgot :(

BUT this week I saw a Disco in Tadley, Hants with a wheel cover for fourwheeldriveclub.co.uk on it and after browsing their site I got here!!!

So now you know how I got here (sorry!) I wonder if you can help? I don't really greenlane or anything so don't think I'm anywhere near qualified to be a responder. So are there any courses or specific skills I should be picking up before looking to join the Hants team?

Thanks! Dale

why not join the fourwheeldriveclub.co.uk dale, you could get some greenlane experience in. PJ is also a event leader on the FWDC so you could meet up with us and get some experience off road. my maverick manages locally without much hastle, and most of the routes are capable for all, if you do get stuck the odd time we help each other out anyway. come along son and have some fun!!
