D&C4x4R were awarded the ''Partner or Community Member of the Year Award'' at the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary Devon BCU Awards evening in recognition of the support given to the Community and the Police over the last 18 months and to confirm the group are now an essential part of the Constabulary's Emergency Plans as the first choice provider of 4x4 Vehicles and Drivers. The award reflects every members willing and professional approach to the actitvities and tasks whether for real or under exercise conditions.
I know for one how much effort it takes to get recognised as I've been off to many meetings representing our group.

Well done and congratulations to all the members of the group. I also think a thank you is appropriate for raising the profile of the 4x4 Response Network in general.
I hope that the profile of 4x4 Response is being raised positively, we are very lucky down here in that we attend LRF Forums in nearly every District Council, and train with the SAR Groups and the Police even attend our AGM
