I've not looked at the video, but is the BRC comms vehicle a 4x4 truck ? If so that was the Scottish MR comms vehicle, no one wanted it so it went to BRC. It was, in MR hands, the only mobile air traffic control vehicle and had great comms, control positions inside

The vehicle is not 4x4 but built on the same chassis as the new Scottish Ambulance Services, Renault I think. There is a similar vehicle operates in the Cumberland area in England and its about 6 months old.
Comes complete with UHF, VHF, AirWave, Satellite system, and Internet via radio service. Most important is that it has a built in generator and has a Tea / Coffee machine in a kitchen at the back.

Ah now I've logged in, I know which one it is.

There's 6 of those just been brought into service - can't remember if it was in Emergency Services Times or Mobile Radio.

The 4x4 Truck is this one - SARCOM need to scroll down abit, it's now in the hands of the Red Cross as Iain Rideout was the MRCoS Comms Officer and I think he's now the Operations Manager BRC.

It's a Mercedes and has every conceivable sort of communication devices know to man in it

Cheers
