The walnut trim is the only thing I hate about my Paj, whoever the first city dwelling owner(#) was, used one of those stick on trim kits and plastered the dash with it to make it feel 'rural'. Now if it was a real polished wood dash I'd understand, but wood print on plastic? just doesn't cut it for me. If I wanna see wood I'll look out of the window.

# I bought it as a fresh import, from the condition I'm sure whoever owned it before me in Japan had never taken it to the park, never mind off road.

[quote name="WessexMario"]All,

I'm in the market for a CB rig, I'll probably want a peek in other people's cabs before deciding (it's gotta match with the walnut trim  )

It's probably a bit 'off-topic' here, where's the best place to get info and discuss CB stuff?

Thought I'd add a couple of photos ...

1. Me and my motor

2. Getting properly stuck in... as you do.

I had to admit defeat for self-rescue here. Problem was, that hole had vertical sides and was so deep the doors were wedged, and with the wind deflectors I had just 6" of space to crawl out of the windows - No chance! Unloading the contents of the boot into the cabin and crawling out through the boot was technically possible, but I did the honourable thing and accepted a tow.

Hi Mario,

Does this make you the first Chippenham member? When I get myself sorted out then you will have some company. Looks like you are more adapt to mud plugging than I. A question though about your picture where you were stuck, what tyres you got on yer wagon, looks a little roady to me, unless they are so loaded as to look like slicks...!!

Yes, they were mud & snow road tyres that looked like slicks before I got them muddy. Brilliant in snow, but sort-of average in mud. I wanted to see just what they were capable of, a lot better than I'd expected, but that sump was a bit too gloopy for them.
