We have now officially stood down the County Emergency Control that the LRF has been running.

Pictures from Wainfleet now show that EA have reinforced the RAF temporary repair to the river bank and will be piling the bank soon. So all appears to be over. Until the next time !

Lots of people have moved back to their homes and will have a pretty awful time repairing all the damage as usual.

We had a very nice letter yesterday from the LRF thanking us for our work and admitting that without all the volunteers down there it could not have coped. That was copied out to all the members.
